About the guide
With almost 40 years of trout fishing in a variety of rivers, and many years spent guiding visiting anglers, Trond is one of the most experienced trout guides we know.
His main home rivers are the Hemsila, the Borgundelva and the Holselva. All three lie near Hemsedal and share the same defining traits: crystal-clear water and large, wary brown trout. As you know, it's a combination that puts high demands on the fly fisher.
Dry-fly fishing is his foremost specialty, and it is in exactly these waters that Trond has built up an invaluable store of knowledge, which he gladly shares with returning guests from all corners of the world.
Besides his brown trout experience, Trond is also a passionate sea trout angler with extensive experience on the Lærdalselva and the Aurlandselva. There, too, he can offer you expert help and guidance.
